Wim de Wit

Wim de Wit has been the Head of Special Collections & Visual Resources and Curator of Architectural Drawings at the Getty Research Institute since 1993. Prior to his position at the Getty Research Institute, he was the Curator of Architecture at the Chicago Historical Society (1983-1993) and at the Dutch Documentation Centre for Architecture in Amsterdam (1974-1982). Among the many exhibitions he has organized are "Shaping the Great City: Modern Architecture in Central Europe, 1890-1937" at the J. Paul Getty Museum (spring 2001) "The World From Here: Treasures of the Great Libraries of Los Angeles" at UCLAÕs Armand Hammer Museum (fall 2001).
